# Hygraph integration

[Hygraph](https://hygraph.com/) is a federated content platform that allows you to unify, structure, enrich and distribute content from anywhere to anywhere.

This integration allows business users to build personalized digital experiences (web sites, web apps, mobile apps, etc.) by re-purposing content from your Hygraph projects. It also enables developers to use their preferred front-end tools to build these applications.

This section provides guides on how to use Uniform with Hygraph.

## Add Uniform integration

Adding the Hygraph integration to your Uniform project
adds new parameter types that you can add to your Uniform
Canvas components.

You must have access to a Uniform team with the ability to create new projects. If you are an active customer or a partner, please get in touch with your Uniform team administrator colleague and ask for an invite.

### Create auth token

You must create an auth token in Hygraph with the following permissions:

| Category | Permissions |
| --- | --- |
| Content API | - Read all models |
| Management API | - Read existing environments<br>- Read existing models |

### Add integration

1. In Uniform, open your project.
2. Navigate to **Settings > Integrations**.
3. Scroll to the section **Browse Integrations**.
4. Click **Hygraph**.

5. Click **Add to project**.

6. Enter the required values:

| Uniform setting | Value |
| --- | --- |
| Hygraph Auth Token | Auth token |

1. Click **Continue**.

2. Select your environment and click **Save**
